if you have read any of my previous blog posts, you will see that I get a good number of comments (which I appreciate). In reviewing and/or replying to the comments. I noticed that a lot o people do not have Gravatars. In my opinion, anyone who is in Affiliate Marketing should have a Gravatar, since it creates your brand identity online.
A Gravatar is basically a short abbreviation which means “ globally recognized avatar”. It can be a picture of yourself or a logo that represents you, your business and/or your brand. Your Gravatar follows you from site to site. It appears beside your name when you do things like comment or write a post on someone else’s blog. Most people who have been blogging for any amount of time use a picture of themselves. Now if you don’t have a picture of yourself or a logo that represents your brand, then you can always do search Google to find something that you feel represents you.
Once you create it, your Gravatar will appear alongside your name with the comments you leave on all Gravatar enabled websites. Leaving your image on your blog comment(s) will help to create your brand awareness/identity with the people in your niche. It helps to create it with the blog owner and the readers that come to that blog post.
Your Gravatar image is also a relationship builder. Most people have an easier time connecting with an image of a face or a logo, rather than the default image. If you really think about it, you can understand that a default image lacks personalization which makes it harder for people to connect with. Additionally, if you have found your niche in Affiliate Marketing and are active in leaving comments on other people’s blogs, your Gravatar helps in getting you noticed by others. This can be very beneficial in increasing traffic to your Affiliate Marketing blog.
So after reading all this, I bet you are wondering where you can create your Gravatar. Well, it’s really simple and best of all, its free. All you have do is, go to Gravitar.com and go through the easy sign up process. If you are using WordPress as your blogging platform, you may already be in their system, since its integrated. So then all you have to do is upload your image. Your Gravatar is associated with the email address that you specify during the setup process. Then, whenever you leave a comment on a blog and enter the email address you specified during the setup process, your Gravatar image appears next to your blog comment. Pretty simple. Gravitar.com also has a lot of other useful items and information on the home page.

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is important and all. But imagine if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this site could certainly be one of the best in its niche. Excellent blog!

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. But just imagine if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this website could certainly be one of the greatest in its field. Terrific blog!
